Voutilainen's creativity and decorative dexterity shine throughout the dial’s intricate arrangement, which combines three different kinds of hand-turned guilloché.
On the back, light splashes off the metal waves rippling across the automatic movement, a micro-rotor caliber produced in-house by Schwarz Etienne.
A trio of overlapping circles define the layout, which is organized neatly using different guilloché motifs: fish scale at the center surrounded by a ring of sunray for the minutes and hours and a pool of waves for the small seconds.
The 39mm steel case has tight curves that minimize the bezel width on top, allowing the vibrant dial to make an even bigger impression, subtly magnify the dial’s impact. (A 42mm version is available by special order.)
