DETAILS

Bradley Taylor says the ocean near his workshop in Vancouver, Canada inspired the Lutria’s dial colors – turquoise, salmon, and iridescent blue-green. The dials are part of a new 24-piece limited series from Taylor that builds on the success of his debut collection, the Paragon, which was introduced in 2021.

Both collections share the same 39mm case, a trim form noted for its scalloped bezel and fluted lugs. The dial is decorated entirely with a hand-engraved guilloché pattern that resembles waves on the ocean. Taylor says the watch’s hands can each take up to 20 hours to finish. The process takes time because it’s difficult to temper the hands to the correct shade consistently. Please Note: Dial color and hand selection can be customized as long as legibility and aesthetic balance are maintained.

The Lutria’s time-only display is powered by the Swiss-made automatic-winding caliber, Vaucher 5401. The mechanism’s surface is decorated with Geneva Stripes, while the micro-rotor is topped with guilloché in a tornado pattern.

Bradley Taylor is an independent watchmaker whose atelier is located in Vancouver, Canada. After graduating from watchmaking school in Switzerland and training at Patek Philippe in Geneva, Taylor returned home to start his own brand and help nurture luxury watchmaking in Canada.

Goldsmith & Complications is proud to be the only authorized retailer for Bradley Taylor watches in the U.S.
