September 15 is Roberto Clemente Day, when Major League Baseball’s 30 teams submit their nominations for the league’s annual Roberto Clemente Award. It is given annually to the player who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy, and positive contributions, both on and off the field.

The Oris Roberto Clemente Limited Edition is a glorious tribute to the legendary Major League Hall of Famer and humanitarian, who died in 1973.

The watch is delivered in a special presentation box that includes an additional NATO fabric strap. Production is limited to 3,000 pieces, which is the number of hits Clemente had during his career. A jump hand indicates the date in a ring that circles the dial. In honor of Clemente’s number as a player, the 21 is gold instead of black.
